MarkCloud

Create a markdown document then share it with the world with a permanent link.

Try it

MarkCloud is hosted online.

Development

Clone the repository, make sure you installed Meteor then run meteor in the project folder. Yep, that's it.

If you want to set up a server, make sure to configure the MAIL_URL and ROOT_URL environment variables as explained in the Meteor Docs.

You'll probably also need phantomjs installed since the apps now depends on Meteor's spiderable package.

Twitter Authentication

Create a json file with this content:

{
  "twitter" : {
    "apiKey": "your_twitter_api_key",
    "secret": "your_twitter_api_secret"
  }
}

Now run or deploy the application with the --settings yourfile.json parameter.

Your users will now be able to login using twitter. You may want to disable the button if you don't configure twitter authentication.
